Background: Geena was born at SFC and comes from our greatest lines known in our program. She was an integral part of our breeding program and her puppies were loved by our clients. Geena is now retired and available to be adopted to a forever home. She comes to you spayed, a recent dental, up to date on all core shots, Rabies and microchipped. Her health testing links are above for viewing. She is in great health and will be a great companion for many years to come. She is very sweet, enjoys toys, playing with other dogs and playing in the yards and running. She is super mellow and has minimal barking. Geena has been raised in our home with our children (who are now grown) so I'm afraid I am unsure how she would do with small children, but given her ancestors that we still own, she should be just fine; but please be open minded that Geena has not been around young children, cats or large breed dogs. Geena is a chocolate & tan Harlequin Merle, long coat. Her coat is filling in now, but is not at it's full potential due to finishing up her final litter not that long ago. Now that she is spayed, her coat will grow in an be full and luscious. Geena knows her name pretty well, but you can always change her name. We also call her "Gigi". Geena is coming from a breeding environment so will need to be potty trained in a new environment. At this time she is used to indoor potty pads and a dog door to use her yard. This typically improves after alteration and when they are removed from a breeding environment, but please do not attempt to adopt her if you are wanting a fully house trained animal. Like every animal we post for rehoming, we hope you would understand that they will have accidents initially and will need patience! Geena is a submissive girl and has never shown any tendencies of being dominant or aggressive. Geena does well in the car for small trips like to the Vet or to grooming appointments, but she does throw up if she eats prior to traveling. She is dog door trained and crate trained. She has never been walked on a leash with a harness but you can teach an old dog new tricks! We have rehomed a lot of dogs over the years and they all seem to mesh into a new environment fairly well with time and patience. She is a very loving companion and would be an ideal pet for someone who needs a constant friend nearby. Please consider Geena for your home and family. 

She has been genetically health tested with Embark and is clear in all breed relevant categories. She has had her heart, eyes and patellas certified with the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals.
